Design and Construction of 7500 Sq.m., Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete (SFRC) ground bearing internal floor for Liebherr India at Pune.
Liebherr India chose to build the first ever jointless SFRC floor constructed in India at their new production facility in Pune.
The state of the art construction machinery manufacturer required the flat floor with minimal joints, STA Concrete Flooring Solutions ability to meet the requirements in terms of Latest machinery, product quality and demanding schedule secured the order with this Industry leader.
The solution offered by BEKAERT followed the STA Concrete Flooring Solutions Construction & Execution abilities,The slab was constructed by a highly skilled and experienced workforce who laid panels of 25m x 25m. The selected design option was a SFRC Jointless floor slab 200mm thick. The floor was constructed using M30 grade concrete reinforced with Darmix 80/60 BN Glued & hooked end DRAMIX steel fibers at a dosage rate of 30kg per cubic meter and finished to a flatness tolerance of FM2 in accordance with 2003 edition of the TR34.
This being Liebherr India’s first project in INDIA and the first experience of SFRC jointless slab for Concrete Flooring Industry , All partners in floor construction faced different challenges. The co-operation, professionalism of all, completed the project on time with assured quality requirements.
